Are you ready to Take Up Space?

You are if you believe...

  • • All bodies deserve to show up and receive compassion and equality.
  • • That no industry should financially benefit from preying on an individual's insecurities.
  • • That oppression and discrimination ARE worth fighting against.
  • • That you and others deserve to take up space with your body, voice, creativity, ideas and truth.
Do you refuse to be part of the harmful nature of diet culture and systems of oppression? If so, please consider spreading the message of body liberation, one tee at a time!

There are so many kick-ass, brave, and radical stories of folks wearing the body positive tees. One lady wore her Be Brave tee the day she entered eating disorder treatment. She Thought She Could So She Did was worn at a Women's March, and one was gifted to a friend entering grad school at 63. So many of you are spreading body acceptance by rocking the Sparkle at Any Size tee and others are rejecting cultural messages of shrinking oneself with Take Up Space.

Be part of the conversation and promote empowering messages by purchasing and gifting body justice tees.

Why These T-Shirts?

I designed these body justice, size-inclusive tees to start a conversation around diet culture and systems of oppression, including weight stigma:

Diet culture believes that bodies are healthy or unhealthy based on size, and thinner is better even at the expense of physical and mental health. This culture harms self-esteem, promotes disordered eating, and leads to future weight gain. It puts the focus on appearance, rather than transformative work that can truly better your life and relationships (including the one with your body).

Fat phobia is harming bodies. It prevents quality medical and eating disorder treatment by neglecting a person's symptoms, behaviors and own lived experience because of a number on the scale.

This is about reclaiming one's space in society with their voice, body and truth. It upholds stories of body liberation, rejecting diet culture and creating a world where all bodies can show up and receive kindness. This level of respect and freedom is necessary to promote wellbeing.

Do you see something missing here?

If you don't find a color or size you need, or prefer a unisex tee, just message me and I'll be happy to help! It's important to me that you feel represented here.
